All items are genuine vintage or antique items sourced personally in India.

Items are in sound-excellent condition, and photographed/described as accurately as possible.

As vintage items, please expect age, discolouration, scratches and wear consistent with the items use or function. Imperfections are considered a part of the history of the piece and should not be considered flaws.

BRASS

Natural brass is a mixed metal alloy of copper and zinc, naturally a warm golden tone. Depending on the history of the item, sometimes the brass patinas to reveal either the zinc or copper element, giving the piece an entirely different appearance....looking more silver or copper.

Brass will naturally tarnish over time, (darken), but may be polished with a simple soft cloth and orange oil, or brasso - both available at a hardware store.

Please be aware that over polishing can remove some of the golden patina, revealing the zinc alloy beneath.
